Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus
Day 1 – Know the Heart of Jesus (Jn 19:37)
As we begin the Novena and Mass for the Feast of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, with the theme Feed My Lambs, Rev. Fr. William Michael has reflected on ‘Know the Heart of Jesus’ in the opening celebration.
The message shared for the celebration was on the ways to get to know the heart of God; is through the Bible which is the source of revelation of God for Catholics from the Book of Genesis to the Book of Revelation and also through Prayer.
By reading the Word of God and reflecting on it to learn and live those words, it would develop an intimate relationship with God. In a similar way, spending time to communicate with God in order to know God and his plans for humanity and for our own lives helps us to know the heart of God when better and closer.
Faithful are called to pray for divine grace to gain the personal experience for conversation all through this 9 days feast celebration.
