Eye check-up and health screening
In conjunction with Parish Community Month, an eye check-up and health screening by Taylor’s Medi team were carried out in the Church of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, KL. Around 45 parishioners benefited from the health screening which includes the doctors’ consultation. Where around 107 people got their eyes checked. This program was held as an endeavor to bring awareness about eye health among the young and old. The doctor examined the eyes of those who participated and gave valuable feedback and suggestions for further lines of action. Dr IyLen Benedict an Occupational Therapy specialist lead the consultation. A kind donor sponsored RM1000 for medication, therefore free medicines were given to patients who required them. The organizers were delighted with the turnover and happy for many who have benefited from this program
